Rochester: Sunday, December 2, 2018, at age 89. Predeceased by her husbands, Pascal Marrocco and Michael “Dom” DiPonzio; sisters, Frances Luce, Grace Frisa, Marian Valente and Antoinette Cerasoli; stepson, Michael DiPonzio. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann (Vito) Dentino, Patricia (Steve) Re; stepchildren, Bonnie (Bill) Rozinski, Patricia Mock; grandchildren, Michelle, Anthony and Michael Dentino, Alicia (Daniel) Wyand, Justin (Nicole) Re, Krista (Jeff) Neu, Lauren Mock, Michele (Mike) Stewart; great grandchildren, Sophia, Connor and Cory; brother, Mariano “Mars” (Rosalind) Lipomi; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Marshall Zugehar, Angelo and Carolyn Marrocco, Sam Paternico; many nieces and nephews. Marie was the owner of Rosewood Painters Supply and Ceramics.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, December 7, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Rochester Presbyterian Home, 256 Thurston Rd., Rochester, NY 14619 in her memory. Marie’s family would like to thank the staff at the Rochester Presbyterian Home for their loving and compassionate care.
