Chili - Saturday, February 2, 2019 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband, John P. Albano, grandson, Thomas S. Albano, brother, Joseph Marsala; brothers-in-law & sister-in-law, Raymond Albano, Rose & Ted Scardino. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Corynda) Albano, John M. Albano, Nancy (John) Welch, Carol Albano; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah) Albano, Jessica Albano, JT Welch, Michael (Ashley) Albano, Nicole Albano, Caitlynn Harmon (fiancé, Nick); great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Rocco Albano; sister-in-law, Philomena Marsala; niece, Diana Pero; nephew, Ted (Karen) Scardino; many dear friends.
Friends may call Thursday 3:00-6:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Friday, February 8, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Avenue. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis c/o American Lung Assoc., 1595 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 or Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Rd., P.O. Box 23029, Rochester, NY 14692 in her memory.
We would like to thank the nurses and staff, who were like extended family to us, at the Timothy McCormick Transitional Center and the Unity Campus who were lovingly devoted to the care of our mom.
