Rochester: Friday, September 20, 2019, at age 96. Predeceased by his father and mother, Frank and Margaret Paolino; sisters, Louise Paolino and Phyllis Paolino; brother-in-law, John Ricco; sister-in-law, Audrey Paolino; nephew, Steven Ricco, cousins, George and Genevieve Dandrea; dear friend, Patty Lippa. He is survived by his sisters and brother, Gloria Ricco, Frances (Joe) Leva, Carl Paolino, Peggy Siciliano; many nieces and nephews, dear cousins, the Dandrea family and the Murano family; dear friend, Mary Salem, Mr. Paolino was an Army Veteran of WWII, a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and an active member at Holy Apostles Church.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Saturday morning, September 28, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 at Holy Apostles Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Canandaigua VA Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St., Rochester, NY 14606 in his memory.
Louis’ family would like to thank the staff at the palliative care and hospice unit at Canandaigua VA Medical Center, Dr. Cecilia Ransom and the staff on the 3rd floor at the Golisano Neurology and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Jaga Mehta and his staff, and the staff and residents at Dunn Tower #2 for their loving and compassionate care.
